Your Kove midwife is on call and will visit you at home to assess how things are progressing. Their calm presence means you don’t have to guess when to leave for hospital: they help you stay comfortable at home as long as possible and avoid going in too early (or too late).
When labour intensifies, your midwife continues to support you whether you transfer to the hospital, head to a birth centre, or choose a home birth. They monitor you, provide reassurance, and help guide your decisions in real time.
Your midwife stays with you during the birth of your baby, offering continuity and reassurance in the moment that matters most.
Wherever you give birth (hospital, birth centre, or at home) your midwife is by your side as a second birth partner. They advocate for your choices, help communicate with NHS staff, and ensure your preferences are respected.
After your baby is born, your midwife remains with you to help with feeding and make sure you feel confident and calm before stepping back to give you space as a new family.
The NHS typically offers three postnatal visits: one on day 2, 5 and 10. These should be home visits but it depends on staff provisions.
Kove antenatal coverage makes sure you have the support you need, we collaborate with NHS care, but make sure you are never adrift in these intense first days with your new baby.
We make sure you and your baby have what you need, the whole family
Medical checks for you, your baby, and your partner. Midwives medical training allow them to reference you to a specialist if need be.

All-in-one visits. We check vitals, listen to your baby, take bloods, and have time for real conversation. No rushing. No separate appointments. Just focused, personalised care.
30+ minutes of dedicated listening, because emotional and physical challenges might emerge later.
We work in collaboration with the NHS to ensure you receive the most comprehensive care possible, and no costly duplicates.
